Sarah Jura, Pastry Chef

Favorite Menu Item: Sriracha Deviled Eggs with Maple Bourbon Pork Belly

Sarah has been in the food service industry since she was 15, where she started working at her small-town soda fountain in Louisville, Nebraska. She was inspired by her grandma who was always in the kitchen cooking & baking for everyone.  Growing up, there was never a shortage of fresh baked cookies! 

Sarah graduated from Le Cordon Bleu in Minneapolis in 2004 and upon graduation, she worked at the Hilton Omaha for close to 10 years. While at the Hilton, she had the honor of cooking for President George W. Bush and numerous other celebrities including Paula Abdul, who said her cheesecake was the best she’s ever had.  Sarah joined Catering Creations in 2016 and in 2022, she represented the company by competing and winning First Place in the Comfort Food Classic with her Sticky Toffee Pudding.  Sarah’s favorite part of her job is testing and coming up with new dessert ideas. There’s never a shortage of taste testers in the kitchen to volunteer to help!

In her off time Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband Jeremy, stepdaughter McKenzie & dog Peanut.
