Hors d’oeuvres & Small Plates

Heavy Hors D’oeuvres: Average 5-9 Hors D’oeuvres Selections. This is a menu where you plan to give your guests more of a meal, but in the form of Hors D’oeuvres. Depending on the number of Hors D’oeuvres, your Guests will leave your event either “satisfied” or “full”. You may want this option so that guests will circulate more at your event. It is also an option for a venue location that does not have enough room for seating of your entire guest count. If you are holding an event during a lunch or dinner hour, but do not want to serve a full meal, you may want to consider this menu style so that your guests do not leave hungry.

Small Plates:  This is somewhat similar to “Heavy Hors D’oeuvres” in that your guests will leave your event “satisfied” or even “full”. This menu style compliments the current “grazing” trend. Small plates of food meal combinations are passed in courses by our serving staff. Each plate may be a miniature version of an entrée or soup or salad. Each plate may have several food components such as meat, vegetable, and starch, but in a small portions. One small plate by itself would not satisfy a hungry person, but several small plates served over 1 or 2 hours will be a satisfying and unique meal experience for anyone!
