Meet

Patrick Gaughan, Sr. Banquet Chef

Favorite Menu Item: Porkbelly Corndogs

Patrick has been cooking since he was a young boy just getting dinner ready for his family. He became inspired by other chefs such as Jacques Pepin and Julia Child and from there a chef superstar named Patrick was born.

Patrick attended Metro Community College, The Culinary Institute of America (CIA) in Hyde New York, and also the California Culinary Academy. After that, he mostly worked in country clubs and apprenticed under a French Chef at the Omaha Country Club. He’s worked a variety events, from competitions, to charity events, to catered events ranging in attendance from 1 to 2500 people. Patrick has been working for Catering Creations since September of 2014 and his favorite thing about it is the daily changing experience and the variety of venues.

His favorite thing to cook is any cut of beef (because he likes to eat any cut of beef), but Patrick also prides himself on the numerous styles and flavors he can cook eggs and potatoes in. He enjoys camping, has an interest in the Boy Scouts of America, and loves to spend time with his family. Patrick is also a professional connoisseur of Donuts.
